Trebbiano d'Abruzzo, Sirio

Trebbiano d'Abruzzo, Sirio - 2022

Item # 37251 750mL

The Trebbiano vines for this delightful white wine are planted between the Apennine mountains and the Adriatic. While the sea brings cool breezes, the elevation creates big day vs night temperature differences. The result is a fresh, vibrant, deal-of-the-year kind of wine that you should have on hand by the case.

Glossary

Abruzzi

Situated on the eastern calf of the Italian boot, Abruzzi is one of the most prolific wine-growing regions in Italy. Two-thirds mountains and one-third hills, it boasts highly favorable natural conditions for the cultivation of grapes. Abruzzi is most famous for its beautiful expressions of the red Montepulciano and the white Trebbiano, though many winemakers are now beginning to experiment with other grape varietals as well.
