La Clarté de Haut-Brion is a rare and exceptional Bordelais white wine, as much due the very small scale of its production as to its composition. It is effectively the offspring of Domaine Clarence Dillon's two prestigious white wines: Château Haut-Brion Blanc and Château La Mission Haut-Brion Blanc. Fermented in oak casks (40% new) for nearly a year before bottling.

Situated on the mid-Atlantic coast of France around the Gironde river, Bordeaux is home to some of the most legendary wines on earth. There are (for all intents and purposes) five grape varieties permitted under French wine law for red Bordeaux: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and, very infrequently, Petit Verdot and Malbec.
