Tasting Notes

From stocks matured exclusively in first fill European oak sherry casks, the Maker's Cut has also been bottled at a higher proof, coming in at 48.8% abv. Everything is elevated here and the profile playfully goes back and forth from sweeter to more savory notes including chai tea, roasted hazelnuts, orange blossom honey, brownies studded with walnuts, praline and coffee. The whisky is mouth-coating and lengthy.
