Made from triple distilled single pot still whiskies matured for a minimum of 15 years in a combination of ex-Bourbon, oloroso Sherry & marsala casks before being blended and bottled at 46% abv. Available in limited quantities.

Staff Pick Notes

For years now, Red Spot has occupied a very special place on my bar shelf. Tucked into the top right corner, stashed away for an extra-special evening sip. Produced at Midleton—a foundational Irish distillery since the late 1700s—Red is the pinnacle of the Spot collection of whiskeys. A trio of casks are used for maturation, Ex-Bourbon and Oloroso Sherry, as we know and love from the Yellow spot preparation. Integrated here we have Sicilian Marsala wine casks. The result is a round and regal sip that once you taste, you will crave to experience again. Dried fig and plum fruit lingers on the palate. The most refined oak tannin floats right along with subtle roasted almond and marzipan. To me, there is no spirit more celebratory than Red Spot.
