In the music video for Kate Bush's 1989 hit song "The Sensual World" we see her striding through a weird and wild forest that is constantly changing. Lust flora? Check. Forest Fire? Check. Snow squall? Also check. All the while Kate is totally unfazed, doing her musical goddess duties. She's a true professional! Willi Schaefer's Graacher Himmelreich Riesling Spätlese is a very similar experience, except in a bottle. This wine is a fount of flavor and richness. Definitely off dry as expected, but not as sweet as one might imagine for such a ripe vintage as 2018. Much like a Kate Bush album from the '80s, this wine will also improve with some bottle age on it. You don't need to wait 30 years, but this is one for the long haul.
