Rosé Sparkling Sur Li, Bergianti "PerFranco", Terrevive - 2021

750 mL
Item # 44616

A tangy sparkling wine made from a local clone of Salamino di Santa Croce, this sparkling dry rosé is named for winemaker Gianluca Bergianti's grandfather. The slightly hazy salmon color hides the full on acidic spectrum from citrus to green apple aromas. Food is a must. Pair with fritto misto or tempura.

Staff Pick Notes

In 2008, Gianluca Bergianti founded Terrevive in the village of Gargallo di Carpi just outside Modena. The domain is 35 hectares / 86 acres and features a rich assortment of agriculture, just 10 hectares of vines. The estate has operated according to strict biodynamic principles since day one. This mouth watering glass of wine is "PerFranco", the grape variety of super local variation of Lambrusco Salamino, which named for Gianluca’s grandfather Franco. A beautifully delicate salmon color in the glass the bubbles a precise, and while they linger, the sparkling is never to brash. The intensity in this wine comes from the tangy citrus acidity that gives way to subtle herb and floral notes. Crisp and clean on the pallet, this is the ideal glass for an Antipasto platter or casual sipping.
