Winemaker Alberto Pittatore's Langhe Nebbiolo is as fragrant and elegant as a fine Pinot Noir. After a short skin maceration, the must was fermented in tank before bottling early and without the use of any oak aging.

Bursting with powerful aromatics of rosehip, fresh berries, and light tobacco, this wine is a beautiful expression of the Nebbiolo varietal. Upon the first sip you will be entranced by bright raspberry and violet notes, followed by a wonderfully subtle tannic finish leaving you wanting to come back for more. This is the essence of Nebbiolo in its youth but also offers the promise of even more potential with time. A wonderful stand-alone or even better when paired with lamb or regional white truffle meals which line up perfectly with the Nebbiolo harvest.




The most famous grape in Piedmont is the noble Nebbiolo, which makes the long-lived Barolo and Barbaresco. There are plenty of Nebbiolo-based wines that are quite enjoyable in their youth, however, often produced in smaller, lesser-known regions such as Ghemme or Gattinara.
