Konjo Fouzitou Rouge, Nana Vins et Cie. - 2020

Item # 44835 750mL

Nathalie Gaubicher makes this wine from sourced fruit under the name Nana Vins et Compagnie. The red and white grapes were foot-trodden before going into vat to ferment. A joyous, fruited, pure red wine to enjoy with any take-out. Konjo means conjoined and Fouzitou means to thrown it all in there as this is a blend of red grapes. Enjoy with fried chicken.

Clairette

Clairette is a term that is applied to several white varieties in southern France: "Clairette Ronde" refers to Ugni Blanc; there is also a pink-skinned variety called Clairette Rose. The real "Clairette Blanche," however, is a touchy grape that is added to many blends in the southern Rhône, Provence, and Languedoc. It is prized in such blends for its bright acidity and its aromatic properties.
