Hampden Estate The Younger LROK Single Jamaican Rum - 2016

A 'younger' rum that shows off the high ester funk of this wedderburn expression. Younger in this sense means five years in the intense tropical clime of Jamaica which would be the equivalent of more than a decade in most other regions producing aged spirits, so there is plenty of complexity here but the time in barrel really serves to elevate the true nature of this spirit more than anything, in the best possible sense for fans of real rums. A very limited vintage collector's release at a great value.
