Here’s a Tequila that provides a few offbeat notes for those who want to expand their Tequila palate. It is distilled at Nom 1584, which uses authentic and traditional methods of converting Blue Weber Agave to Tequila. The fruit is cooked in a brick oven and then run through a roller mill. Fermentation is open air using entirely native yeasts. 1584 does not “manufacture” tequila for any mass marketed label. Thankfully, there is nothing added other than water. You’ll find notes of cinnamon, banana, and fresh cheese on the nose and palate. Choose Tepozan if you would like a little earthy twist to your cocktails.

White tequila, an official type (tipo) for tequila bottled fresh from the still, or allowed to rest in stainless steel tanks for up to sixty days before bottling. It is never aged in wooden barrels. Also known as plata, plato, and silver tequila. Usually the most robust, strong-flavoured of the tequila types.
