A full-bodied red wine bottled in the trademark-shaped bottle of the Travaglini family which was first introduced to celebrate the excellent 1952 vintage. The bottle was so well received that the family has kept it ever since. This is made from the Nebbiolo grape and comes from the small appellation known as Gattinara which is located in the rocky foothills of Monte Rosa near the Alps.

The most famous grape in Piedmont is the noble Nebbiolo, which makes the long-lived Barolo and Barbaresco.
