Morillon is the local name in Südsteiermark for Chardonnay, and Zieregg is its most famous vineyard. The Tement family have been renowned vintners here for decades, and make some of Austria's most respected wines. From limestone and marl soils, the wine sees 20 months lees aging in neutral barrels. Pair this full-bodied and aromatic white with Styrian fried chicken with pumpkin seed oil.
