Tasting Notes

This isolated island distiller has been quietly leading the way in Scotch Whisky by carving a path forward that simultaneously preserves the best artisan traditions while pushing the flavors of this category forward. This special edition is created by taking a batch of whisky aged in first fill Bourbon casks and finishing it for a minimum of 18 additional months in Quarter Casks made of American Oak, an updated Scottish tradition. The Bothy is bottled at cask strength and the rich oak presence and high proof make for a bold whisky of astounding depth.
