Barolo Riserva, Giacomo Ascheri

Barolo Riserva, Giacomo Ascheri - 1971

Item # 47119 750mL

Located in Bra since 1880, the Ascheri family has been crafting fine wines since the dawn of what we know today as Barolo. This town was the historic distribution center of Barolo, and the winery introduced many innovative cultivation and winemaking techniques. This comes from a lauded vintage that has aged very finely. Taste what a proper aged Barolo is like, and pair this with buttered tagliatelle and white truffle shavings.
