From the eastern slopes, this Pinot Grigio charms with a fully textured and rich palate with aromas of pink grapefruit, apples and pears. Pair with seared scallops in a browned butter sauce. The grape's origin is French, where it is known as Pinot Gris and thought to be a mutation of Pinot Noir which has lead to the greyish blue hue of the skins which gave the grape its very name.
