What has quickly become one of the more anticipated rum releases of the year, this Distillery Edition is an annually marriage of marks and ages of rums that are standing out for their quality when Great House is being created. This year's release features two distinct rums in different proportions - 74% HGML 2019 and 26% LFCH 2011. There is an explosiveness to the rum as expected from some of those higher esters and vibrancy of the younger rum. But the older component really brings things together and makes this a unique and worthy expression for this series.
