Tasting Notes

One of the hidden gems of the Scotch World, founded in the golden era of the late 19th Century and designed by the great Charles Doig in what has become the iconic pagoda style that is widely identified today with the classic distilleries of Scotland. Not much has changed in over 100 years here and the whiskies are still made using traditional artisan methods making these some of the most reliable, and consistently high value single malts in class. For the 15yr the double matured regimen in both American and Spanish oak gives this whisky an irresistible flavor profile that has ample tropical fruits at its core, along with sun kissed mandarin oranges, coconut, malted chocolate and assam tea. Highly recommended.
