Cheval des Andres is a partnership between Bordeaux's Ch. Cheval Blanc and Mendoza's Terrazas de Los Andes. This full-bodied dry red is composed mostly of Malbec, with some Cabernet Sauvignont. Vinified separately, they are blended and aged for 18 months in French and Austrian oak barrels, both new and used. Pair this ageworthy red with an intimate asado.
