Made from 70 year-old Syrah vines from a .83 ha monopole on the backside of Hermitage, this is from a small family estate in its 6th generation. The grapes are destemmed, and fermented and aged in barrels, of which 15% are new. Dark, yet fresh with chocolate and spice aromas, and a velvety texture. Pair this dry red with grilled lamb kabobs.
