Winemaker Sam Bilbro's dedication to the grapes of Piedmont results in stellar California Cortese. The Lost Hills Ranch vineyard sees both maritime and continental influences, and its sandstone and schist soils contribute beautiful minerality. 20% of the wine sees skin contact for a month and half, contributing structure and a savory character, and the rest underwent direct press. Fresh, vivacious, with medium body and a hint of structure, this ia a beautiful rendition of California Cortese. Pair with chicken and peppers braised with herbs.
