A beautiful example of Anjou Blanc. Pascal and his son Charles Eusebe, pay a lot of attention to the terroir where they source the grapes. The vineyards lay beautifully just next to an old Roman road. This wine is 100% Chenin Blanc and it shows the classic qualities of the grape. On the palate this Anjou Blanc is full bodied with citrus notes, yellow apple, pear, and apricot flavors with the typical delicious honey finish. In addition, a crisp minerality makes this wine very intriguing. I would pair it with soft cheeses or grilled meat. Intense and delicious!
