The magic of rum comes alive in this glass. All of the hallmarks of a great Jamaican rum are there in spades. The very high ester count of the HLCF recipe ranges from 500-700 g/hlpa and the aging and bottling was done entirely in a single ex-Bourbon cask in the tropical clime of the distillery in Trelawny Parish. Even with the power of the high esters the rum, almost magically, comes off as ethereal, refined and harmonious. Notes of tropical fruits, preserved citrus, rhubarb and toasted coconut stand out amidst an undercurrent of pepper and spices. We hand selected this single cask at the distillery and offer its full yield of 262 bottles to you.
