From the volcanic soils of Csobánc hill, this winery on the northern shore of Lake Balaton is run by Philipp Oser. Entirely Zöldveltelini (Grüner Veltliner), aged in both stainless steel and 750L oak barrels on the lees for 5 months. Medium-bodied, dry, with aromas of citrus, green apple, white pepper, and a savory character. Pair with fried lake fish.

Referred to by many Americans as "Gru-Ve," this white variety is nearly synonymous with Austrian wine.
