Half-Bottle of Forthave Single Batch Three Amer Liqueur

Item # 49651 375mL

The Single Batch Series is the most limited and experimental in the Forthave range. In the 8yrs that this project has been around it has yielded only three with this release included and this one alone was five years in the making. Made in the artisanal methid of traditional 19th Century French Amers, Batch 3 leans into flavors of bittersweet orange, sweet spices and rich caramelized notes of treacle with layers of fragrant herbs and flowers in the mix. Perfect balance and absolutely seamless on the palate, this is closer to a work of art than a simple liqueur. Very limited

Staff Pick Notes

If you don't know Forthave Spirits yet, it's about time you get on board. Based out of Brooklyn, this company gets its name from a 15th century botanist Richard Forthave, who created popular herbal tonics to battle plagues and other illnesses. True to his name, Forthave's library of botanicals included over 200 different types of herbs - roots and barks, leaves and flowers, and fruits and seeds. Batch three is styled from 19th century French Amers, with flavors leaning towards bitter orange, cardamom, molasses, bitter roots, herbs, and beautiful floral and flower stemmed notes. Need to find a replacement for a French Amer for your next Brooklyn Cocktail? This bottle will put a smile on your face!
