Wondering what to serve at your next summer bash? Why, Merwah of course. It's the wine you've never heard of that will easily become your summertime go-to white. Although the grape may be new to you it's an ancient, native variety of Lebanon that has been traditionally used to make Arak. As a still wine, however, it's delightfully fresh and lively with bright citrus and wet stone notes. Founded in 1857 by Jesuit Monks, Ksara is Lebanon's oldest winery. All of their vineyards are in the Bekaa Valley at sit at 1000 m. This unique setting is what gives all their wines such freshness. Serve this at your next barbeque, it's great with grilled chicken or fish.
