Staff Pick Notes

"Simply, guardians of the quality" is a fitting mantra and a way of life at I Clivi, that is perfectly reflected in this subtly sophisticated Tocai Fruilano. Certified organically farmed from 70 year old vines in the hills of Gramogliano, near the Slovenian border, I Clivi San Pietro Friulano shows a rare versatility that will please all of the white wine palates. Delicate wild flower aromatics and citrus charged acidity are balanced with mineral texture and hints of almond, notable salinity, and a flinty finish. Fresh and light, yet layered with nuance, I Clivi is a multi-dimensional white that highlights the quality pedigree of the San Pietro vineyards.
