A gorgeous red wine from 40 year old vines planted in the Treiso area of Barbaresco. Only the best grapes are selected from the top of the hill where the soil is full of white clay and tuffeau soils. Fermented with native yeasts and then aged in large Slavonian oak barrels for a year. Aged in small ceramic eggs for another year before bottling. Pair with a roast.

Piedmont

The most famous grape in Piedmont is the noble Nebbiolo, which makes the long-lived Barolo and Barbaresco.
