Saussignac is a rare wine made in the southwest of France. This is made from botrytized grapes of Sémillon and Muscadelle and mimics a Sauternes but is a delectable wine in and of itself. Aged for 10 months in oak casks before bottling. Luminous, aromatic with apricots, candied oranges, coconut and vanilla. Pair with blue cheeses or a tarte tatin. Can age for a good ten years.
