Produced exclusively from agaves grown at the super high altitude La Cañada field 2,115 meter up and nestled in between two of Ocho's most famous long standing sources La Latilla and La Laja. After a slow and considered distillation by one of the great masters of his generation, Carlos Camarena, this batch was aged for 3 years in well used American Oak barrels.The combination of the ultra ripe tropical high altitude agaves with the long aging has created an elegant profile of complexity with notes of red apple, cinnamon, plums, cloves, vanilla, mango and dark chocolate.
