The latest iteration of this series is also lucky number nine. The superstitous side of ours can't help but wonder whether that is why this is tasting like the best Lucky Cat yet. We suppose the rich layered fruits, bakery and pastry notes mixed with bold spices from the wine, oloroso sherry and Spanish Oak casks probably have something to do with it too. The mix of grain and single malt whiskies and the blend of ages and slightly higher proof hit the spot perfectly. A very satisfying dram indeed.
