Vincent Laterrade grew up in Armagnac’s Ténarèze region, and in his thirties he began discovering small, regional producers distilling Armagnac, not to sell in bottle, but to eventually sell to help fund a building project or their retirement. His philosophy is simple: find vintage, single-property Armagnacs with no alcohol reduction, blending, or manipulation. Inside Vincent’s treasure trove, barrels line the walls, and small glass jars are filled with the rarest vintages that he has found. It is our great honor at Astor to present to you his Armagnacs and this fifteen year expression is a great place to start. Creamy, full bodied, with rich notes of marzipan fruits, hot buttered pancakes, sticky pudding, and that singular Armagnac earthiness, this is one to be savored after a big meal with friends and family.
