Made by Maestro Mezcalero Artemio García, this is made from 8-15 year-old Agave cupreata which are capón for 3 years before harvest. Cooked in an earthen oven and milled by hand, this is fermented in ayacahuite tinas. Distilled using a hybrid copper pot still and a hollowed palo blanco tree trunk. Rested for 2 years in glass before release.
