With origins in the 1800s Cape Town, hugely popular, celebrated and made famous in the legendary Savoy Cocktail Book, lost to time and rediscovered and revived again only in 2014 in collabortaion with one of South Africa's greatest winemakers Adi Badenhorst - Capertif is finally back and ready for a new generation to discover. Made from an electric base of chenin blanc wine that is then macerated with dozens of herbs and botanicals - most importantly the native Fynbos - the finished vermouth drinks more dry then sweet but the ample ripeness and complexity the botanicals deliver will make this one of the most important vermouths in your rotation. We are very glad this is back in such great form.
