Staff Pick Notes

In 1980, Andrew Quady came across an unused parcel of Orange Muscat grapes in Reedley, California. Determined to use them, his research lead him to Northern Italy where it turns out, the vary same grape variety is known as Moscato Fior d'Arancio, AKA the orange blossom Muscat, and thus, a California dessert wine was born. Essensia is a full-bodied sweet wine made with orange Muscat grapes. The color and flavors are bold, refreshing and original: A deep golden hue is matched with a baking spices, orange and apricot flavors and aromas - a lovely fresh acidity finishes your sip clean. Essensia and dessert are a natural match. Pair it with any number of fruit pastries or cheesecake. Sip it with biscotti, drizzle it over pastries. My Personal choice? A fresh goat cheese tart...mmmm.
