Artisanal grappa from a true artist.Vittorio Capovilla sources the highest quality ingredients and emphasizes the skill needed of a distiller in his small batch boutique grappas. He uses bain-marie alembic stills at low temperatures, which take a much longer time than average grappa. In this Grappa di Barolo, pomace comes from Piedmont's most renowned winemakers: Clerico, La Spinetta and Giovanni Russo. The flavor is profound, with a ripe, tarry rosebush quality and the texture is delicate on this most artful of grappas.
