Staff Pick Notes

Allspice gets its name because of its complex flavors of clove, cinnamon, nutmeg, and pepper all wrapped up into one berry. This wonderful liqueur is no different. It truly captures all of those complex flavors and is a must for any home bar! Used often in tiki drinks, it pairs beautifully with rum and tropical concoctions. However the flavors are an incredible match for all other base spirits as well, from gin and vodka to tequila and whiskey, and can be an amazing ingredient for a winter holiday-themed drink! Try the Wildest Redhead cocktail from Raines Law Room of NYC: 1.5oz blended Scotch, 0.75oz fresh lemon juice, 0.25oz AD, 0.5oz honey syrup, 0.25oz Cherry Heering; Shake all ingredients except Cherry Heering with ice; Strain into a rocks glass over one large cube; And top with Cherry Heering. (Meaghan Dorman)
