Wine made from grapes grown without synthetic pesticides, fertilizers and herbicides in the vineyard.
A youthful, fresh Bordeaux with an easy juicy structure. Merlot dominates on this bistro-style red, with Cabernet Sauvignon to add grip and crunchy tannins. Great for week-night steaks or leftover lamb. This Bordeaux sees no oak - it was vinified and aged in cement tanks.
I've got a lot of love for Bordeaux, especially when it's easy on the bank account. This unoaked crowd-pleaser from Chateau Masserau is just what the doctor ordered: a fresh and easy yet complex BDX. Cabernet Franc has remained close to its roots in France, enjoying small pockets of popularity primarily in the Loire Valley (specifically in Chinon), where it is often bottled as a varietal...
The result of an illicit affair a hundred-odd years ago between Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon today enjoys more worldwide popularity than both of its parents combined. It is the principal grape of Bordeaux, and as such has rightly earned its place among the greatest and most long-lived wines of the Old World; of course, it is also the most heralded grape of California,...
