Staff Pick Notes

From Rias Baixas in Galicia on the Atlantic side of northwestern Spain, comes a firm but light red wine from wine region better known for white wine, Albariño. In addition to the dark briar fruit and gravelly earth, there is a hint of salinity from the cold Atlantic coast air. This light bodied but intense red wine is a perfect match for anything from grilled seafood to braised pork. Josh M
