Tasting Notes

Known as Mencía in Spain, Jaen finds a new home in this region with a great potential. Quinta de Lemos focuses on producing ageworthy wines from indigenous grape varieties yet with a modern vinification approach. Spicy red and tart fruits with cedar and pine tree earthiness. Drinking beautifully now but do not hesitate to lay down the bottles for next 10 years or longer.
