A Barbaresco from the Rombone area within the Treiso zone of the region. The soils are a mix of a white marl mixed with clay and sand. The Nebbiolo was hand picked and sorted prior to destemming and pressing. Fermented with the indigenous yeasts and then aged in large, old oak barrels for 18 months before further bottle aging before release.

Piedmont

The most famous grape in Piedmont is the noble Nebbiolo, which makes the long-lived Barolo and Barbaresco.
