Staff Pick Notes

A bottle of Riesling is always good to have in your fridge. Whatever the occasion, it will be welcome company and this bottle from Kruger-Rumpf is not one to miss. They are located in the Nahe region west of Frankfurt and the vineyards here go back centuries. This wine is a blend of two of their biggest plots: the Kapellenberg and Dautenpflänzer vineyards, which are planted in quartz and slate soils. Dry and lean with a tangy kick of dried lemon and kumquat on the palate. German Riesling's signature acidity is on display, and because of this it's one of the most flexible white wines to pair with food. Hot spices, garlic, fermented flavors, umami .. bring them on!
