The Häder vineyard is a classified Erste Lage located adjacent to the Mönchberg, Haidle’s top site for Lemberger, at approximately 330 meters above sea level. Lemberger (aka Blaufränkisch) is a red, local grape variety that gives a pulpy delicious wine. This was vinified in neutral barrique before bottling. The viticultural focus at the Haidle estate is old vines, low yields and aging in very old neutral vats.
