Staff Pick Notes

Furlani Vermouth is full of sassy attitude. Bitter orange and wormwood grab the attention of your tastebuds with no hesitation, but flavors quickly slide into complex, mildly sweet, and floral mid-palate. Acidity along with bitter and slightly earthy elements carry through the lengthy finish. If an all purpose, subtle cocktail component is what you need, this isn’t it. It's excellent on its own. This is a great crossover into fortified and aromatized wines, especially for lo-fi wine lovers. Winemaker Matteo Furlani ferments the base wine with no temperature control, added yeasts or sulfur. This vermouth is vinous, viscous, and textural. Conversely, this vermouth provides an entry into the amazing alpine wines of Northern Italy for cocktail enthusiasts. Furlani opens the magical world of vermouth to everyone!
