Venezia Giuliia Bianco, Mitja Sirk - 2020

Item # 46129 750mL

The Sirk family is originally from Slovenia, but has been living within the Italian border for more than 50 years. Mitja has grown up around their farm and famed restaurant, and learned winemaking from Jasko Gravner. Stylistically far from those wines, this is a classically made Tocai Friulano from 25-35 year old vines. Medium-bodied, with texture from lees aging and bottonage, this is aromatic, mineral, and saline. Pair this pork goulash over polenta.
