This extraordinary rum was made from the intentely terroir driven local cane of Saint Michel de l'Attalaye and distilled and aged (still extremely rare for clairins) in a combination of rum and single malt scotch casks prior to bottling at cask strength. The purity and concentration of flavor is quite simply unmatched by anything else we have tasted in this category. Limited. This is the second ever bottling of this expression, the first for the US and it was bottled exclusively for us and our customers.
