Staff Pick Notes

This is a lovely little Sangiovese from the Marches region of Italy. I was initially surprised at how aromatic it was for a Sangiovese, and was consistently impressed by its balance on the palate. This was fermented and aged in stainless steel and is meant to be drunk early. Wonderful notes of fresh red fruit with a decent acidity to keep the fruit in check, this is an incredibly smooth and easy drinking red that I'm pairing with my next tomato pie and arugula salad.
