Made from local molasses from northern Australia, very slowly fermented, distilled on both column and pot stills and aged for the first 4yrs in American Oak in the intense tropical clime of the region prior to another 5yrs of Continental aging. The total angel's share was 40% at bottling. 100% natural cask strength, no chill filtering, no colouring, no sugar, no additives. Only 430 bottles for this batch. This is the epitome of Australian Rum, and spoiler alert - it's special stuff.
