Starlight 6yr Single Barrel Amburana Finished Bourbon Whiskey

Part of the 'Carl T. Huber' line marking their signature Bourbons, named after the fourth generation family member of this still independent family owned far/distillery in operation since 1843 just across the river from Louisville. Aged for 4yrs in new charred American Oak, the whiskey was transferred to a single barrel of Brazilian Amburana Wood for 2yrs of finishing. If you know the tropical, citrus laced notes that mark amuburana finished whiskies than you can imagine the influence they've had on this single barrel after two years. A rock solid yet totally unique bourbon all at once. Bottled at cask strength. Very limited.
