Marsannay Pinot Noir stands out among Burgundy wines for its rustic, direct style—fresh, fruit-driven, and easy to enjoy right away. It’s ideal if you like wines that are less polished but authentic and full of character. It is grown on sandy, alluvial soils and made with a low-intervention approach and moderate use of oak, highlighting the character of the land over the influence of the barrel. In the glass, it shows a bright ruby color. The nose reveals fresh red fruits like cherry, raspberry, and red currant, with light spice and subtle earthy notes. On the palate, it is dry, with medium-high acidity and a light to medium body. The tannins are smooth and well integrated. After a few minutes of air, it opens up nicely, becoming more expressive, fruit-driven, and balanced. A Pinot Noir that invites you back for another glass.
