A blend of Touriga Naçional, Jaen, Tinto Roriz, and Alfrocheiro, this dry red comes from the Dão. This area is protected from excessive heat by mountain ranges all around. The wine is vinified in stainless steel, and aged in used French oak for 18 months. Pair this bright and earthy red with lamb kofte in cinnamon tomato sauce.

A Portuguese red grape of cloudy origin, Alfrocheiro was once thought to be a relative of Pinot Noir.
